A source of motivation

A source of motivation

One of the biggest obstacles to implementing positive new habits is living around people who still engage in the old habits that you want to break.

It’s much harder to get up and meditate or workout or journal when everyone around you is sleeping in after a night of drinking or partying or binging on Netflix.

But that’s where social media can be useful.

Start following people who engage in the habits you desire.

Better yet, become one of those people by documenting your journey and asking your followers to hold you accountable, or to join in.

And that way, you turn social media into a source of motivation rather than just another mode of escaping.
