An ideal way
An ideal way
It’s better to meditate for 5 minutes in your car than to keep waiting for the perfect 20-minute window when the house is quiet.
It’s better to park and walk from a couple of blocks away than to keep waiting for life to slow down enough for you to hit 10,000 steps.
It’s better to squeeze in some chair squats between meetings than to keep waiting for the perfect time to hit the gym.
In other words, stop waiting for the ideal world to show up and start showing up in an ideal way with whatever’s happening right now.

Over the years, I’ve meditated in stairwells, carparks, movie theaters, dry cleaners, you name it. It’s not where you meditate that counts—but that you meditate, and work out, and move your body. Want some instruction, accountability, and support with meditation and movement practices, you can get a free two-week trial to my online community, which has a series of 108-Day challenges for daily meditation, movement, eating healthy, walking, and more.
My passions include keynote speaking, leading meditation retreats, hosting my podcast, and writing self-help books, like Travel Light, Knowing Where to Look, Bliss More, and The Inner Gym. I’ve also got a thriving online community with fun challenges and masterclasses for becoming the best version of you. You can see more about me at lightwatkins.comor follow my journey on Instagram.
