An incredible tale of redemption

An incredible tale of redemption

Today on the podcast, I have a bite-sized “Plot Twist” episode with former guest, Shaka Senghor.

Shaka spent nearly five years in solitary confinement.

But he had a dream: write a book, get released, appear on Oprah.

Not only did Shaka write a book in 30 days while locked up, he eventually got released and became a New York Times best-selling author.

And as far as the Oprah thing was concerned, it was the plot twist of all plot twists.

Here’s what’s covered in Shaka’s plot twist episode:

If you want to discover why Oprah didn’t want Shaka to come to Hawaii, you can continue the story here.

And my original (longer) conversation with Shaka is here (it’s episode 87).

As always, thanks for tuning in.
