Birthing your idea

Birthing your idea

If you’re working on something unique that can help or inspire people, being scared to put yourself out there is not an obstacle to success.

It’s a prerequisite.

And if you’re not at least a little bit scared, you should consider going bigger—by putting even more of yourself into it, or helping more people.

You actually want to be a bit nervous when you tell others about your idea.

You want to toss and turn a little when contemplating the scale of it.

You want to be doubted and challenged and called “naive” by those who are risk-averse.

In other words, if you’re having to face your fears while birthing your idea, then yours is an idea whose time has come.
