Doing their best

Doing their best

In our eyes, someone may have everything they need to do better.

But…

We don’t know what’s in their heart.

We don’t know what their current motivation happens to be.

We don’t know what kind of karma they carry.

We don’t know what soul lessons they came here to learn.

In fact, we don’t know much of anything about the other person beyond what we see.

This doesn’t mean we accept any kind of behavior from them.

It just means we don’t get caught up in over-analyzing their shortcomings.

All things considered, they’re doing their best.

Now continue to do yours.

Having a hard time not complaining about their shortcomings? I’ve got a challenge for you: 30 Days of No Complaining. It’s the hardest challenge we’ve ever offered, but it’s also the most rewarding when you can break (or at least be more mindful of) the incessant need to complain. To win the challenge, you only need to go 10 out of your next 30 days without complaining. If you can do more, even better. Up for the challenge?
