Going beyond good and bad
Going beyond good and bad
I was recently talking to a friend about her last relationship.
She described it as toxic, and she warned, “Next time, I’m out after the first red flag.”
And I suggested that that may be a bit of an overcorrection.
From the spiritual perspective, thinking in terms of red flags causes us to see life through the binary lens of good vs. bad—
Which is fine for folks who want to believe there’s someone out there with no shortcomings.
But for the spiritually mature, there’s a much more accurate way to interpret these situations—
One that allows us to stay rooted in our authenticity and presence.
In this week’s episode of The Spiritual Perspective, we’re going to explore beyond good and bad and look at how to mine the true wisdom of the situation.
Here’s what you’ll take away:
How to spot a real red flag, from a spiritual perspective
A far better question to ask than, “Is this good or bad?”
How to extract the value from any experience you find yourself in
.
After watching this episode, you’ll literally start to see your life with new eyes.
And you’ll discover a much more effective way to gauge experiences—one that will help you continue to grow and thrive.
With love,
Light

P.P.S. In Chapter 9 of my new book, The Year You Transform, there’s a story called That Farmer Was Not Being Toxic—a retelling of the classic farmer and the plow horse story that ties into this idea of re-examining what’s good vs. what’s bad.
