Half it

Half it

If you’ve stopped your New Year’s resolution (for whatever reason), don’t wait until next January to start again.

Instead, try cutting your original commitment in half.

If it was to walk 10,000 steps a day, make it 5,000 steps and start again.

If it was to cut sugar every day, go sugar-free every other day or every two days.

In other words, honor where you are by making your steps smaller and more doable.

That way, you can get some quick wins and more sustainability over the long term.

The secret to successfully completing a challenge, I’ve discovered, is to take the tortoise approach to change as opposed to the hare approach. That’s why my 30-Day and 108-Day challenges have insanely high completion rates (Up to 80% compared to the average of 3%). We go SLOW! So if you want to start meditating, moving, eating healthier, walking, being more grateful, or complaining less—you’ll excel with challenges that take the less-is-more approach to long-term change. Choose your next challenge here.
