Hoping and wishing
Taking responsibility for every part of your experience is what keeps you in the driver’s seat of your own happiness.
It means you refuse to blame others for your experience…
Not your parents, not your ex, not the politicians, not the economy.
Initially, that sounds overwhelming and perhaps unfair.
But it’s also empowering.
Because if you’re the one who’s responsible for your experience, then you have the power to change it, starting today.
The alternative is actually a lot harder.
If it’s your parent’s, your ex’s, or society’s fault, then you have to wait around forever hoping and wishing that they change.

One of the best places to start taking ownership is with your body. I have a 108-Day Movement Challenge that will help you incorporate walking, about 10-minutes of bodyweight exercises, and a resting squat into your day. And slowly working your way up to doing 5 or 10 push-ups (from only being able to do 1 or 2) will remind you of how much strength you have to change anything else in your life. Start moving more today.
