Meaningful sacrifice
I was listening to a health podcast with a guest who worked his ass off to lose a bunch of weight and get into top physical shape.
And he was discussing how strict his nutrition had to be in order to reach his goal.
He said something I’ll never forget:
He said, even though I love waffles, my six-pack tells the story of all of the waffles I didn’t eat over the last year.
In other words, you can have anything you want, but you can’t have everything at the same time.
If you want better health, if you want more abundance, or if you want a higher quality of rest, you have to make some sacrifices and stick to them.
You don’t get meaningful change without meaningful sacrifice.
So on top of envisioning how you want to grow, don’t forget to also decide what you’re willing to sacrifice in order to achieve that result.
