Prove them wrong
In the spirit of new year’s resolutions, today’s Plot Twist will inspire you to dream bigger.
This is the incredible story of Martinus Evans.
His turning point came after telling his doctor that he was going to run a marathon at 400lbs.
His doctor laughed at him, told him he was too fat, and that he would die if he tried.
Martinus decided to prove him wrong—one step at a time.
..
.
What started with a pair of running shoes turned into crossing the finish line of multiple marathons, and along the way, Martinus’s mission was to normalize slow marathon running.
His story is about resilience, determination, and choosing to keep going, no matter what others say.

.
If you’ve set a goal that feels daunting this year, Martinus’ journey will remind you that the best transformations come from showing up every day—even when it’s hard.
