So... do you believe in God?
So… do you believe in God?
When someone asks about your religious beliefs, do you hit ‘em with, “I’m spiritual, not religious.”
And if they follow up with, “what does that even mean?”
Do you find yourself…
Scrambling to answer without sounding vague?
Or trying to carefully explain your beliefs without triggering a debate?
Or searching for practical words to avoid being labeled “woo-woo?”
If so, this week’s Spiritual Perspective is for you, or anyone who identifies as spiritual but not religious—but hasn’t always had the words to explain what that actually means.
We’ll talk about:
The real difference between spirituality and religion (without judgment)
Why people misunderstand “spiritual but not religious”
A simple self-check to see if you’re embodying the spiritual perspective—and not just using the language
And the one-sentence definition you can use the next time someone asks what you mean by “spiritual”

This isn’t about proving anything. It’s about finding clarity—so you can speak from truth without sounding defensive or dismissive.
Many of us feel like the only “spiritual” person in our circle—and this episode is here to validate and support you along that journey.
And if it resonates, I’d love to hear how you define spirituality?
