The business of happy

The business of happy

Becoming rich and successful doesn’t automatically make you happy.

And becoming genuinely happy doesn’t make you materially rich or successful.

Those are two completely different paths that may at times overlap.

Yet, if you want to experience both, you have to be committed to both.

You can’t treat one like a full-time job and the other like a hobby and expect both to just spontaneously happen.

You must schedule your meditations like you do your business meetings.

And grow your gratitude list as intentionally as you grow your email list.

And you must show up for your mental health like you show up for customers.
