The highest mountain
Having a good business idea is like having the desire to climb the highest mountain.
You don’t have to worry about anyone stealing it.
The majority of people won’t have the desire, the willingness, or the stamina to do what it takes to bring the idea to fruition.
And those who might are too busy executing on their own good ideas.
What you will need to go the distance is a sherpa (mentor) and supplies (resources).
So if you think your idea is that good, tell people about it.
You’ll quickly see who the believers are in your circle.
Plus you’ll hear all kinds of comparisons to other things, as well as the most common objections.
But most importantly, you’ll get valuable survival tips from others who’ve summited that mountain before.

My passions include keynote speaking, leading meditation retreats, hosting my podcast, and writing self-help books, like Travel Light, Knowing Where to Look, Bliss More, and The Inner Gym. I’ve also got a thriving online community with fun challenges and masterclasses for becoming the best version of you. You can see more about me at lightwatkins.comor follow my journey on Instagram.
