The process

The process

Every well-known artist and creative has a rejection story, where they first showed their creation to some gatekeeper, and they were either dismissed or told “no”—especially if their work was truly unique.

That could’ve easily been the end of the story.

But what separates those artists and creators from the ones whose work never saw the light of day is they didn’t take their initial rejections personally.

Or maybe they did, but they viewed rejection as a part of the process.

And if your unique creation is currently being rejected, remember that the opposite of rejection isn’t acceptance—it’s not giving up on yourself.
