The Relevance of Destruction

The Relevance of Destruction

Happy MLK Day,

We’re indeed living through some truly heavy times. Fires are devastating entire communities, wars are shattering lives, and the political divide feels deeper than ever.

It’s a lot to take in, and we’re all trying to navigate these challenges as best we can.

In today’s Spiritual Perspective, I’m diving into a different way to view the “bad things” that happen in life.

This isn’t about sugarcoating or bypassing pain—it’s about uncovering the deeper (spiritual) meaning behind these moments so we can stay grounded and empowered as we move through them.

This perspective has completely shifted how I navigate tough situations, and my hope is that it might do the same for you.

You can watch the full Spiritual Perspective here. And as always, let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Finally, in the spirit of MLK day, I encourage you to check out a free documentary on YouTube called "King in the Wilderness,” which is about MLK's final years.

It really captures what it means to be both human and to act heroic in the face of destruction. You can see it here

Enjoy!

P.S. Scheduling update: I've decided to focus more on quality over quantity. Starting now, my newest long form podcast episode will air on Thursdays instead of Wednesdays (with Plot Twist episodes airing every few weeks on Thursdays), and these new Spiritual Perspective videos will be released each Monday. So Monday and Thursdays will be new release days moving forward. If you have any feedback about the schedule please send it along.
