The right choice

The right choice

When you’re not sure which is the right choice to make, here’s what you do:

Meditate for 15 to 20 minutes for 5 days in a row, ideally around the same time each day.

And immediately after each meditation, with your eyes still closed, ask your heart which choice you should make.

Don’t expect your heart to answer you in words.

Instead, notice how the options feel in that moment.

One will start to feel more expansive, while the others will feel more contracted.

And whichever option feels more expansive on the majority of those days, that’s your answer.

Used properly, meditation becomes your internal GPS. This is why daily practice is crucial, if you want to get the signal clear. Otherwise, you end up having to use shoddy guesswork to make simple decisions, often leaving you mistake-prone, or worse, stuck. To tune up your internal GPS, join my July 26 - 28 Mexico City Urban Meditation Retreat, and I’ll show you how to optimize the signal. And after we work together, the idea of following your heart won’t be scary like it is for most, because you’ll know exactly what your heart is saying. The cut off to register is this Monday.
