The road to mastery
The road to mastery
Michelangelo’s mentor gave him the following advice for becoming a master of his craft:
“Continue, without fail, to draw something every day.”
He didn’t say, create a masterpiece every day.
He just said, draw something.
Every day.
Weekends included.
Because consistency of practice puts you on the road to mastery.
So if mastery is your destination, commit to your version of “draw something” every day.

In order to master meditation, daily practice is also strongly recommended. And in order to enjoy that level of consistency, I would say you need to fall in love with meditation. And if the idea of that lights up your heart, consider joining my July 26 - 28 Mexico City Urban Meditation Retreat, and I’ll show you how to fall in love with the practice.
