The spirituality of life

The spirituality of life

You don’t need to pray or meditate in order to be considered “spiritual” or to demonstrate faith.

By simply doing what you said you were going to do, you show the universe that your word can be trusted—that’s prayer.

By dedicating parts of your life to service, you’re practicing oneness.

By following your heart, no matter how scary it feels, you’re demonstrating faith.

When you’re being as present as possible, you’re practicing mindfulness.

In other words, life itself is a spiritual practice when you’re fully showing up to it.

I like to wear wraps at home. After my morning meditation, I’ll wrap my shawl around my waist and wear it to remind me to keep the mindfulness going.

On Sundays in my online community, we declare our stretch goal for the week. A stretch goal is a small way that you can show up for yourself from Monday to Friday. It could be making your bed each morning, walking a certain number of steps, going off of refined sugar, doing 10 minutes of yoga each day, etc. And there’s power in declaring your mini goals publicly, week after week. There’s also power in getting support throughout the weeks from others who have stretch goals.

If you want community, accountability, and support from 2,000 others who are actively cultivating fulfillment from the inside-out, get your free two-week pass to thehappinessinsiders.com and let us know what how you want to stretch this week.
