The true cost

The true cost

The cost of Netflix isn’t just $15 a month. It’s $15 plus the book you’ve been saying you wanted to write.

The cost of sweets isn’t just $3. It’s $3 plus the type of body you said you wanted at the beginning of the year.

The cost of a drink isn’t just $10. It’s $10 plus your sleep quality and every decision you make the next day.

In other words, the cost of short-term indulgences usually includes the higher cost of your longer term goals.

And I’m not saying don’t indulge. Just know the true cost of doing so.
