The man who walked around the world

This week on the pod, I’m honored to have on Tom Turcich, author of The World Walk.

Tom spent the last seven years walking across the Earth.

He walked a total of 28,000 miles, averaging 14 miles per day. It was just him and his dog Savannah.

Only 10 others have circumnavigated the Earth in history. That’s two less than the number of humans who’ve stood on the moon.

As you can imagine, Tom faced all manner of challenges, and weather, and doubts over those years.

And his story is a beautiful example of what’s possible when you make a commitment, and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
