Trust in life

Trust in life

To trust in life does not mean that you must avoid feeling cowardly or afraid.

It means you trust that your fear is showing you what you must overcome in order to be free.

And if you are experiencing cowardice, you trust that your courage will eventually come.

If you feel abandoned or alone, you trust that the solitude is making you stronger.

If you are confused, you trust that the misdirection is guiding your spirit where it needs to be.

In other words, you trust that all of life is happening for you—even when it doesn’t feel like it.

No Throwaway Moments in Travel Light

In the Spiritual Minimalism framework, you are encouraged to treat life as if there are no throwaway moments. Meaning, everything you’re experiencing and have experienced is informing your spiritual path, and is guiding your spirit to where it is needed the most. You can read more about this philosophy on page 75 of Travel Light.
