Turn the energy up

Turn the energy up

Expressing dissatisfaction sucks the energy out of any room you’re in.

Even if you’re in there all by yourself.

Most people won’t say anything.

They’ll just avoid you.

But the fastest way to turn the energy back up is to express sincere appreciation.

Which is at the other end of the energetic dial.

If you keep your dial set to “appreciation,” you’ll attract more of what you want.

Because the universe is like that parent who says:

If you don’t stop complaining, I’m gonna give you something to complain about.

Except with appreciation, it goes:

If you don’t stop appreciating, I’m gonna give you more goodness to appreciate.

What’s something small and unexpected that you can appreciate today? It can be a small interaction, it can be your good health, it can be how you were brought up. Look for reasons to appreciate, and it will help you find even more.

And if you want structure and accountability with being more appreciative, I have a 30 days of Gratitude Challenge in my online community. You can start the challenge and do the first two weeks for free. If you get value out of it, you can keep it going for less than $1 a day. But you’ll have an entire community holding you accountable, which makes all the difference in sticking to what you say you want to do. Join here

My passions include keynote speaking, leading meditation retreats, hosting my podcast, and writing self-help books, like Travel Light, Knowing Where to Look, Bliss More, and The Inner Gym. I’ve also got a thriving online community with fun challenges and masterclasses for becoming the best version of you. You can see more about me at lightwatkins.comor follow my journey on Instagram.
