Warp speed

Warp speed

Whenever I have a hectic travel day,

I remind myself of how, a couple hundred years ago, this same trip would’ve lasted weeks or months.

And it’s possible that I wouldn’t have even survived the journey.

Now, my biggest inconvenience is a delayed flight, not-so-great food, or spotty wifi.

If you wake up in one location, and go to bed in a destination thousands of miles away,

That’s an amazing feat of technology, coordination, and enterprise.

Sure, the experience could be more comfortable here and there,

But you’re still traveling at warp speed compared to the days of old.

Light
.

One thing that makes delays easier to navigate is to travel light(er). I’m currently on the road with just my backpack. I’ve been handwashing my clothes, wearing the same thing each day (more or less), and enjoying the freedom that comes with not having a capsule wardrobe. Want to learn how to travel light(er), check out my Travel Light(er) masterclass in my online community. Get a free two-week trial here and you can go through the entire Masterclass.

My passions include keynote speaking, leading meditation retreats, hosting my podcast, and writing self-help books, like Travel Light, Knowing Where to Look, Bliss More, and The Inner Gym. I’ve also got a thriving online community with fun challenges and masterclasses for becoming the best version of you. You can see more about me at lightwatkins.comor follow my journey on Instagram.
